Appointments

docandchildAppointments can be arranged by telephone or calling at the surgery.  Please make a separate appointment for each person requiring a consultation. If you feel that your condition requires more urgent attention than the appointment you have been given, please inform the receptionist (urgency will be assessed by a doctor and you may not necessarily see your own GP).

You will normally be able to consult with a Doctor of your choice within a reasonable period. However, during holidays or periods of high demand this may not be possible.

A number of appointments are also offered each day for acute, simple conditions.  Always remember to check in with the receptionist on arrival.

Please let us know if you are unable to keep your appointment so it can be offered to someone else.

Urgent Requests

Urgent requests will always be forwarded to a doctor.  It helps if some brief details are given to the receptionist but this is at the patients discretion.

Telephoning Your Doctor

The doctors are happy to talk to you on the telephone and have therefore set out a number of telephone consultation slots each day. The reception staff will take essential details of your problem sympathetically and in confidence. They will take your phone number and a doctor will phone you back.
